Two-way, full-range 6-inch coaxial loudspeaker

The professional high-power installation loudspeaker system shall be a two-way full-range design incorporating a 6-inch (170 mm) low-frequency ceramic transducer with a 1.75-inch (44.5 mm) voice coil and a coaxial high-frequency compression driver with a 1.4-inch (35.5 mm) voice coil mounted coaxially with the LF transducer.

The coverage shall be 120° conical and respect Direct Match Transition (DMT) technology.

The loudspeaker system shall operate in passive mode (single channel) with a crossover frequency of 2250Hz.

The loudspeaker system shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 61 Hz to 20 kHz, measured on-axis; sensitivity (1W @ 1m) of minimum 92 dB SPL in free field; maximum rated SPL at 1m (passive) of 109 dB continuous and 121 dB peak (crest factor of 12 dB); rated power capacity (passive) of continuous 215W based on a two-hour power test; nominal impedance of 8 Ohms.

The loudspeaker system input connector shall be one Euroblock connector. 

The 60° trapezoidal loudspeaker enclosure shall be constructed of 12 mm Baltic birch exterior plywood and finished in black polyurea paint (RAL 9011). The front of the loudspeaker shall be protected by an 18-Gauge (1.2 mm) powder-coated steel grille that is lined with acoustically transparent backing and a stainless metallic screen to prevent water ingress and is free of logos or other embellishment. This grille shall be treated against UV and corrosion. The loudspeaker shall be IP54, and all exterior fasteners shall be stainless steel. The input cup shall be protected by a sealing plate.

The enclosure shall have multiple rigging points, including 4 x 2.25-inch (108 x 50 mm) M6 four-hole patterns on top and bottom of the cabinet and one M8 for Yoke attachment on the top and bottom.

The loudspeaker system enclosure shall be 12.5 inches (316 mm) high, 8.7 inches (220 mm) wide, and 7.1 inches (180 mm) deep. The loudspeaker shall have a net weight of no more than 13.4 lbs (6.1 kg).

The two-way full-range loudspeaker system shall be the Q-SYS PL-CA6 loudspeaker.
